His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, on the recommendation of the Permanent Synod of the UGCC, established the Pastoral Council of the Patriarchal Curia.
The Pastoral Council of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC will include the structures of the Patriarchal Curia responsible for the pastoral ministry of the UGCC.
The main task of the Pastoral Council will be to coordinate and unify the activities of patriarchal structures, to continue the implementation of the UGCC Development Strategy and other tasks outlined in the relevant Provision.
The decree will come into force on the date of its electronic publication on the official website of the UGCC.
Reverend Bishop Ken Novakivsky, Bishop of New Westminster became the head of the Pastoral Council of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC for the term of three years.
The secretary of the Pastoral Council is Fr. Volodymyr Misterman, Deputy Administrator of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC.
